Marecucina: Alno presents Maritime Concept Study
A trend study always experiments with possibilities and ideas. This is what Marecucina does, the new maritime kitchen concept from Alno. Nautical shapes, colors and materials invite you to experience the kitchen as an individual room more than ever before – and enjoy some leisure time in your every day life. Marecucina experiments with new style elements and combines them with the demanding quality philosophy which also characterizes ship building. Alno introduced the new concept to the public for the first time at the Eurocucina 2010 in Milan.
Boat and kitchen building have a characteristic common ground: The passion for high quality, precise workmanship and expressive individuality. Marecucina from Alno integrates elements such as sail, mast, ship’s storage, walnut surfaces and chrome plated decorative inserts stylishly into your design. Rounded off shapes of cabinets and work tops are reminiscent of an elegant boat pantry and build a bridge between holidays and the everyday.
Thereby Marecucina uses two existing Alno components and builds on them: the seemingly free floating cabinets from the program me Edition Fly – and the fronts from the Alno product line Alnostar Highline (white) and Alnostar Natureline (walnut).
With the Edition Fly a special mounting technology ensures safe and easy assembly on the wall. A familiar picture for the skipper – because even on board, wall mounting is the method of choice. The further developed, rounded off cabinets will be supplemented by the fronts of the products Alnostar Highline and Natureline in the Marecucina product range.
Both of them are without a handle, sleek and fit into the overall picture of the concept study. One comes with high shine varnish, the other with warm, real wood veneer in walnut. White and brown are both typical colors on and below deck. However in spite of its maritime theme, Marecucina is not only attractive to passionate boat enthusiasts. The concept study conveys rather a new incentive for the further development of modern living spaces. Both living areas combine to create a whole with Marecucina, which gives expression to the personality of the owner in a creative manner.
