ALNO AG furthers its innovative leadership in use of glass for modern kitchens

  • Glass kitchen collection extended with modern colour schemes and additional design elements
  • Numerous awards testify the innovative design and consumer-oriented product performance
Pfullendorf, 17. September 2011 - ALNO AG, one of the world’s largest manufacturer of kitchens, again demonstrates its innovation leadership in the use of glass for kitchens at this year’s house fair. The ranges ALNOSTAR VETRINA and ALNOVETRINA are now available in the modern high-gloss colours of cashmere and purple. Cashmere will also be available as a matt finish in the ranges ALNOSTAR SATINA and ALNOSATINA, which are characterised by the combination of classic beauty juxtaposed with linear forms.
The innovative glass kitchens from ALNO kitchens are constructed from 16 mm thick chipboard which is bonded with glass that has been painted on the reverse and are as such very easy to clean. ALNO is the innovation leader in this field with an extensive product range that extends from a simple natural look through to classical and modern forms.
This leadership is demonstrated not least by the numerous awards received by the glass kitchen classic "ALNOSTAR SATINA" for its innovative design and consumerfriendly product performance. Prizes include "Kitchen Innovation of the Year 2011" and the "reddot design award 2010," which recognise the uniform design of the kitchen furniture and electrical appliances. The programme range was developed in cooperation with Bosch household appliances and Schott AG as a concept kitchen. Furthermore, as part of the "Trend Study 2011" ALNOSTAR SATINA also received the excellent "iF product design award 2010". Here the kitchen impressed judges with its futuristic shapes and its uniform satinised glass doors.
Over the past few years, the ALNOART woodglas and ALNOART pro ranges have also both wowed the judges. The two new design elements ALNOSATINA and ALNOVETRINA have now been integrated into the glass collection and round it off with recessed handles and segmented glass doors for a future-orientated kitchen. The new ranges from ALNO are currently on show at the DESIGN TOUR 2011, as part of the Küchenmeile A30, in the ALNO AG customer centre in Enger.
